Clavius, Scheiner & Copernicus 28th Oct 2009

Just a very quick imaging session tonight. The seeing wasn't up to much... and I'm recovering from a bad cold, so I didn't want to be sitting in the cold for too long :-)

SKYnyx 2-0M with IR filter, 3 x TV barlow. Processed in Registax and CS4.

Copernicus

Using 4x Imagmate.
The seeing was really bad after this, I think the jetstream is right overhead.
I went out about an hour later and it was worse.

Copernicus mosaic 7th Dec 2008

The finished article, a 5 image mosaic.
Captured with C9.25, 2.5x TV Powermate, red filter. Processed in AviStack, Registax and mosaiced in CS3.

Copernicus... work in progress

Here's part of a larger mosaic that I'm constructing.
The seeing was really bad earlier tonight, third time lucky and I managed to capture this. Although I'm not sure if the other frames of the mosaic are up to it :-(
As I parted the roof on my shed I was showered in ice. :-o

Copernicus from 2007 - Best Copernicus to date.

Another rendering of my best Copernicus from last year. Using Registax and CS3.
5 image mosaic, best 200 from 2000 frame avi's, 42 x 64 box MAP.
I've gone for a slightly smoother feel with the 64 box MAP processing.
