Jupiter 13th July 2006

Red spot Jr. seems to be almost directly under the GRS at the moment.

Terrible seeing tonight, image was going all over the place, didn't know what to focus on.

M13 Cluster in Hercules

M13 is a Globular Cluster a little under 25,000 light years from Earth. It is just visible to the naked eye and well outside the plane of the Galaxy. It takes its name from its native constellation of Hercules.
